What We’re Seeking:


5280 Brands is hiring a performance-obsessed, full-funnel Paid Media Manager to lead paid strategy and execution for two category-defining brands launching in Q1 2026: a protein beverage brand and a functional mocktail brand built for Gen Z and Millennial consumers.


This isn’t just a media buying role—it’s a chance to own customer acquisition from the ground up. You’ll be the go-to performance lead responsible for launching and scaling Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and emerging platform campaigns that deliver real results from day one. You’ll work across paid search, paid social, and video—owning budgets, driving creative strategy, and optimizing campaigns daily to hit aggressive growth goals.


You’ll partner closely with our acquisition and creative teams to bring high-performing campaigns to life—owning everything from ad copy and creative direction to audience testing and funnel strategy. You’ll also help define the tools, systems, and reporting infrastructure needed to scale profitably across multiple channels and products.


This role is perfect for a hands-on operator who understands how performance, creative, and data intersect to drive profitable growth. You’ve scaled Meta and Google accounts, know your way around TikTok Ads Manager, and get excited about building acquisition systems that are smart, fast, and ROI-driven.

What You’ll Do:


  1. Own Paid Media Strategy for Two New Brands: Lead the paid acquisition strategy and execution for our two newest brands launching January 2026—a wellness mocktail and a protein beverage brand. You’ll build, test, and scale campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and other high-impact platforms.
  2. Launch and Optimize Multi-Channel Campaigns: Set up, manage, and optimize full-funnel campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube), Meta Ads Manager (Facebook + Instagram), Amazon, and TikTok Ads Manager. You’ll own media planning, budgeting, targeting, and in-platform execution from day one.
  3. Collaborate Closely on Creative Strategy: Partner with our content and creative teams to lead the development of high-converting ad assets—including video, copy, UGC, and static imagery. You’ll brief concepts, guide iterations, and use performance data to inform creative direction across each platform.
  4. Own Daily Optimization and Performance Management: Manage daily spend, bids, audiences, placements, and testing strategies across platforms. You’ll proactively identify what’s working, iterate quickly, and allocate budget to maximize ROAS and minimize CAC.
  5. Leverage Tools and Tech Stack Effectively: Use platforms like Triple Whale, Google Analytics, and in-platform reporting dashboards to analyze performance, track key KPIs, and inform strategic decisions. You’ll help define attribution models, track post-click behavior, and report out on what’s moving the needle.
  6. Write and Test Conversion-Ready Copy: Draft ad copy that converts—aligned with each brand’s tone, audience, and platform style. You’ll lead messaging strategy across headlines, primary text, CTAs, and offer positioning, testing multiple variations to uncover performance winners.
  7. Collaborate Across Acquisition and Creative Teams: Work closely with our Social Media Manager, Influencer Marketing Manager, Content Producer, and Retention Marketing Manager to ensure paid campaigns align with brand strategy, content calendars, and product launches.
  8. Build Reporting Dashboards and Performance Reviews: Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights. You’ll share learnings, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to the paid media playbooks for both brands.
  9. Test Into New Platforms and Campaign Types: Identify and evaluate new paid channels—such as Reddit, programmatic display, or affiliate-driven paid campaigns. You’ll run small-scale tests, evaluate ROAS, and scale what works with confidence.
  10. Move Fast, Learn Faster: Launch quickly, iterate often, and optimize constantly. You’ll treat paid as a growth engine—always looking for ways to lower CAC, improve conversion, and drive profitable scale across both brands.

  5. Data-Driven and Results-Focused: You think in terms of numbers—ROAS, CTR, CVR, AOV—and make decisions grounded in data. You’ve owned revenue-driving campaigns before and know how to scale smart while keeping spend efficient.
  6. Cross-Functional and Collaborative: You work seamlessly with social, influencer, and creative teammates. You communicate clearly, give thoughtful feedback, and stay focused on shared goals across teams and timelines.
  7. Organized and Operationally Strong: You’re process-driven when it counts—managing naming conventions, UTM parameters, creative testing workflows, and performance reports with structure and clarity.
  8. Always Testing, Always Learning: You bring a test-and-learn mindset to paid media—running controlled experiments across offers, creatives, audiences, and platforms to find and scale what works.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:


  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  2. 5+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns for DTC brands.
  3. Proven track record of running full-funnel campaigns across Meta, Google, Amazon, and TikTok with measurable success (ROAS, CAC, LTV).
  4. Proficiency in ad platforms and tools including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
  5. Experience using performance tracking and attribution tools such as Triple Whale, GA4, or similar.
  6. Strong copywriting skills for paid ad creative, landing pages, and testing variations.
  7. Comfortable using Slack, Asana, Google Workspace, and performance reporting dashboards.
  8. Ability to collaborate with remote cross-functional teams and communicate performance insights clearly.
