Occupational Therapist - Hospital Setting
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our client, a prominent hospital in Lubbock, TX. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them recover, develop, and improve the skills necessary for daily living and working.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Help patients develop, recover, and improve daily living and working skills
- Teach patients new ways of performing tasks and using adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and communicate with patients and their families about treatment plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- CPR certification
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred, but not required
