We are now seeking an operationally savvy & team oriented General Manager to join our team in New York City.

What you'll do:

• Set the tone in the cafe & bring energy in everything you do while inspiring your team to do the same
• Responsible for the overall profitability of the store by managing your P&L; achieving sales, cost of goods, and labor targets.
• Drive the sales, efficiency and hospitality in the cafe with a high performing team, quality food & a beautiful store environment
• Always encourage development amongst your team by having conversations and reviews with teammates
• Lead by example and set the bar for Health & Safety and ServSafe compliance for your store
• Play an active role in the community through engagement and fulfilment of our value proposition in your neighborhood

Who you are:

• You have a minimum 2 years' experience as a manager in a quick service or full-service restaurant
• You have worked in various roles in hospitality, have a passion for service and understand what is needed to provide a high level of hospitality
• You can run a full restaurant with skills and experience in front of house & back of house
• You have proven achievement of key performance indicators and can articulate which key actions you implemented to drive performance.
• You can lead and deliver a high performance team environment
• You are organized and detail-oriented & strong interpersonal and communication skills
