We are looking for a fulltime Health Educator, performing all tasks associated with our supplement & wellness business, including making supplement and health recommendations, ordering, checking in orders, and handling special requests. This position would be in a professional environment with many opportunities to grow and challenge yourself. Qualified applicants would have many of the following traits:

*You have some level of training in supplements, lifestyle choices, and dietary recommendations and you would enjoy working in this environment.

*Prior experience working at a wellness oriented practice-for example: GNC, chiropractic office, health coaching environment, functional medicine practice, among others and you would enjoy the challenge of performing ALL duties associated with maintaining our supplement inventory

*You have a health oriented background with a focus on lifestyle, diet, and targeted nutrition

*Be open to doing whatever it takes to create the exceptional patient experience, including checking in orders, answering phone calls, handling special orders, scheduling consultation appointments, and working at the register if needed

*Your dynamic personality needs to radiate compassion, gratitude, and joy!

*Likes to work in a team atmosphere. Our culture is exceptional.

*Self starter and highly motivated. Enjoys the challenge of growing our nutrition business

*Live within 30 miles of our store in north Raleigh

*Be available to work M-F during our business hours of 9-7 and every other Saturday from 9-130 only. . We close at 1:30 on Saturday and closed every Sunday. This position will be 30-40 hours per week. Schedule hours & flexibility are a plus working at Medicap

***Who would not be a fit for this position: No previous retail experience, no basic knowledge about health a wellness, no schedule flexibility, not comfortable with technology, not willing to do basic ordering and restocking of the department, not willing to clean shelves as needed

Medicap Health & Wellness is a locally owned and operated independent pharmacy that has been in business for 22 years. We moved into a brand new state of the art store in May 2020. Our health and wellness business continues to grow and is my passion for all of our patients & customers. I am a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist as well as a Pharmacist so I love this part of our practice.
