Job Description:

Responsible for the distribution of City ledgers and credit card bills after receiving from the Income auditor.
Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of shift
Responsible for the inspection and reconciliation of bills as per the posting and later verify them as well.
Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies
Responsible for compiling report at the end of month and close ledgers Responsible for ensuring that at all times the accounting department’s records present the fair financial position of the hotel.

· Ensures an over all minimization of cost and improving employee productivity.

· Strictly adhere to the established operating expenses and ensure that all costs are controlled.

Produce daily reports for departments and department heads
Audits all entries made by Front office and F & B reports on a daily basis and check that the gross revenue report is accurate and distributed on time.
Responsible for auditing the code and account numbers of all prior day rebates, miscellaneous charges and paid outs.
Responsible for auditing daily revenue figures, supporting reports and vouchers.
Responsible for preparing the daily night revenue report.
Responsible for auditing daily night cash summary prepared by the Restaurant and General Cashier.
Local telephone and Long Distance calls report.
Laundry and Valet report & Health Club report.
Audit all vouchers checks and other documents to be posted to city ledge; and prepare the summary of all City Ledge charges and Credit Card charges;
Review all entertainment /office cheques.
If applicable, post daily to the Earning Journal.
Prepare rebate and allowance summary and rebate journal.
