Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Solutions Engineer with minimum 5 years first hand industry experience (with excellent knowledge in telecom industry master level). The candidate must be a team player and able to complete assigned tasks within the allotted time. The candidate must have EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS in order to talk and conduct business with our clients. The candidate must be able to multi-task in term of client requirements and deliverance of required tasks. The candidate must be able to work at night / evening shift / Regular Shift on site or on flexible hours. Part time position is also open for Weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 9PM. For Full time regular hours it is 5 days a week Monday to Friday 12PM to 9PM. Increment in Basic Salary will be provided after Potential Candidate passing probation period.
Job Requirements:
  • Basic Graduation Degree / Bachelor of Science (from well-known institute), Masters will be considered as a plus.
  • Graduation from any reputable Institute (LUMS, FAST, COMSATS or International Institution) will be considered as a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience, more will be considered as a plus.
  • Excellent English verbal communication skills ( Speaking & Listening ).
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
  • CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  • Proficiency with all departments of technical related tasks.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
  • Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
