Museum Fabrication Group is an exhibit design and fabrication firm producing exhibits and experiences within museums, nature centers, libraries, visitor centers, universities, and many other facilities across the country. We teach content through interpretation and storytelling, and every day strive to inspire others through thoughtful, engaging design.
We are seeking a Construction Detailer to join our creative, artistic, and fun group of hard-working designers and fabricators. The Construction Detailer serves as the bridge between design and fabrication, translating exhibit concepts into buildable production documents while preserving the creative vision of each project. This position combines technical detailing with creative problem solving and requires extensive collaboration across departments. Candidates with backgrounds in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Engineering Technology, or similar disciplines will find opportunities to apply both their creative and technical skills throughout the design and fabrication process.

Formal CAD training (AAS), Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering Technology, Engineering Sciences, or equivalent applicable work experience is preferred. Candidates with Industrial Design or Product Design backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits including a flexible schedule, 401(k), health insurance, and many opportunities for creative cross-training. Candidates of any experience level with strong portfolios will be considered. Compensation is commensurate with experience and auxiliary skills.
