Job Description
The W. P. Carey Technology Strategy and Operations (TSO) team is crucial in proactively furthering ASU's academic, research, and community missions. The team is a collective of Multimedia Developers, Business Analysts, System Support Analysts, and System Analysts. The W. P. Carey, Technology Strategy and Operations (TSO) team’s purpose is to assist the W. P. Carey school with technology needs, course content development, and departmental video communications. It is done in partnership with faculty, researchers, and staff including ASU Enterprise Technology. We build trustworthy partnerships, innovate and create sustainable technology solutions, and expand technical proficiency throughout the school as W. P. Carey and its partners.
We are hiring a Multimedia Developer to support ongoing video production related to online, hybrid, and face-to-face course material, website content, as well as various departmental videos related to our academic mission. The successful candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced academic environment working and communicating directly with faculty, staff, and students, and leading them through the creative and sometimes complex multimedia production process. We are also looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is not afraid to share creative ideas or offer suggestions on how we can improve processes.
Salary Range
$47,000-$60,000 per year; DOE

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or a related area, AND, GRAPHICS (Proficiency):2 years experience in Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, 2D imaging software and 2D animation software (Flash) and creating web graphics. VIDEO:(Proficiency):2 years experience in video/audio production. OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Working Environment
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with the daily use of a desktop computer and video production equipment; bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to clearly communicate, to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.
