Job Description:

We are looking for a Sr. MuleSoft Developer to lead both strategic and hands-on Mulesoft initiatives with plenty of opportunities to develop software solutions to business problems. This role is integral to the company through the development of scalable, high-quality services and solutions.

Responsible for designing, developing, cross training, documenting, and maintaining integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint platform. Works closely with Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Architects, Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data and application integrations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

· Design, develop and operate highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform, taking into consideration best practices, performance, security.

· Design, develop, and maintain APIs and connectors, ensuring they meet the business requirements and standards.

· Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for existing and new integration solutions.

· Implement and follow security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance and scalability to protect First United Bank’s assets.

· Collaborate with and cross train Salesforce and/or MuleSoft developers.

· Work with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud and nCino to build end to end integrations.

· Collaborate in technical meetings, requirements gathering, analysis, planning, effort estimations, development, and testing.

· Work with Salesforce API, metadata API, Bulk API 2.0, and understand Salesforce Governor limits.

· Perform MuleSoft Administration and operational managing & monitoring on Anypoint Platform

· Set up and manage Access Management, monitor connected applications; client provider integration/federation, resource allocation and performance monitoring

· Debug and resolve operational issues in conjunction with other technical and functional teams

· Lead and facilitate the implementation of OAuth JWT token-based security scheme on publicly exposed XAPIs as needed

· Support automated deployments of applications to Cloudhub and adhere to SDLC using AutoRABIT

· Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.

· Contribute technical solution design and perform user stories & acceptance criteria writing for agile deployments.

· Present Change Requests for enhancements and new releases to IT Change Control Committee.

· Use productivity, analysis, and automation tools to manage iterative delivery: Azure DevOps, AutoRABIT, Microsoft Teams, & Cisco Jabber.

· Perform continuous monitoring and analyze logs of APIs.

· Involved in design and capacity review meetings to provide suggestions in using Kubernetes Platform.

· Provide strategic vision in engineering solutions that touch the messaging queue aspect of the infrastructure.

· Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

· Troubleshoot issues that occur in production & non-production environments and provide bug fixes.

· Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery.

Required Education and Work Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the Computer Science Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with equivalent experience.
  • Overall 7+ Years of Industry experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in Service Oriented Architecture and full lifecycle implementation of APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, and related tools.

· Good knowledge of Salesforce API, SOA architecture and fluency in web service standards such as WSSE and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST) is a must. Implementation experience with J2EE framework-based solutions is preferred.

· Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution.

· Extensive experience in developing & managing Microservices, APIs, API Gateways, AWS/Azure Cloud Solutions, Relational and/or NoSQL databases (developed outside of MuleSoft).

· Must be knowledgeable in managing Docker images, container networking and standard infrastructure maintenance tasks on Docker and Kubernetes platforms.

· Considerable experience in implementing RBAC Security.

· Support 24x7 Model and be available to support rotational on-call work (including Saturday/Sunday).

Preferred Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience working with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform and Salesforce Platform as a Developer.

· 5+ years of software development experience. Software integration and/or other ESB experience are a must.

· Experience in large scale implementations, working with geographically distributed teams.

· Intermediate level Java development experience.

· Strong knowledge of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies & standards.

· Strong experience in various System & Applications Integration Architecture, Solution Design, and Development using SOA/EAI solutions.

· Experience with SOAP and REST is a must.

· Solid Programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XSLT, CXF, Spring Framework, etc.

· Experience with Mule administration, configuration, and tuning

· Demonstrated experience implementing Mule ESB architecture, rules, caching, etc.

· Experience with troubleshooting issues related to Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools

· Background in both agile and waterfall methodologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
