A growing digital pathology company is seeking a talented Medical Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our scientific team to create high-quality scientific and medical content that supports our digital pathology platform.
Responsibilities:
- Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is a critical skill for a Medical Writer, as it requires a clear and concise understanding of complex scientific and technical information to ensure that procedures are properly documented and executed in a consistent and reproducible manner.
- Write and edit scientific and medical content for various audiences including scientific publications, grant proposals, regulatory documents, and marketing materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality scientific and medical content for new product launches, clinical studies, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to ensure that scientific and medical content is accurate and meets standards.
- Maintain awareness of developments in the medical and scientific fields to ensure that all written materials are up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical writing for the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
- Proven track record of writing and editing scientific and medical content, including peer-reviewed publications, regulatory documents, and marketing materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex scientific and medical concepts to various audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with digital pathology or a related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
- Experience with data visualization software and creating infographics.
