Position

At CarpeDM, we cater to busy professionals who are looking for meaningful relationships by taking the burden of finding a compatible match off their shoulders. Our matchmakers are known for their high EQ, friendly-responsive demeanor, accessibility, and commitment to improving the lives of our members.

As a CarpeDM Matchmaker, you help create a positive impact on the love lives of CarpeDM members by leveraging your expertise in interpersonal relationships and coaching; ensuring member satisfaction and accountability on all levels.

The most successful matchmakers excel in the following competencies:

1. Emotional Intelligence: handle all relationships judiciously and empathetically.
2. Project Management: prioritize all members into your schedule.
3. Communication: proactive; clearly (re)sets expectations; honors commitment.
4. Technology: Familiarity with video conferencing, cloud-based technologies and project-management tools (Google Suite, Slack).

1. Our matchmakers receive training on the CarpeDM method, are invited to 1-on-1 coaching and mentorship sessions, and have access to weekly workshop opportunities that are designed to foster their own professional growth.
2. Our Matchmakers have flexible work schedules, set their own hours, and work from home/remotely.

Responsibilities

Get personal. Promote love as an experience.

You're responsible for guiding clients through their matchmaking experience and connecting them to other members in the CarpeDM community based on compatibility, shared values, and a desire for meaningful relationships.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Client Experience: Lead a high-touch experience as your clients’ personal matchmaker and coach throughout their matchmaking experience.
2. Screening: Meeting potential matches via video to screen and assess compatibility and community fit. Generate buy-in from potential matches; engage with your personal recruits.
3. Matchmaking: Thoughtfully present matches to members using our proprietary matching platform, tracking members success, following up with members to improve dating outcomes.
4. Feedback: Deliver honest and expeditious feedback, dating insights, expert guidance, and constructive tips for your clients and their matches.
5. Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal team, abiding by our code of conduct; bringing concerns to our team in a proactive, professional and articulate manner.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Passion for people.
2. Commitment for promoting healthy relationships.
3. Quality-consciousness and exceptional attention to detail.
4. Ability to connect and build rapport, especially with those you do not know or share values with.
5. Experience working with external-facing clientele.
6. Tech-savvy with ability to pick up new tools and technologies with ease.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Formal education in communication, psychology, or counseling.
2. Relevant courses or certifications in matchmaking, coaching, or educational programs above.
3. Direct experience in matchmaking, coaching, and/or date concierge.
4. Direct experience recruiting and/or interviewing for quality and character.
5. Deep awareness of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Behavioral Psychology.

Compensation:

1. Hourly, Commission, and Rewards
2. Unlimited earning potential
