Job Description:


Immediate need for a talented Master Data Management resources (MDM). This is a 11+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Data Quality Management:
  2. Contribute to on-going cleansing and maintenance of product and pricing data by driving data entry standards for formatting, completeness, and accuracy for attributes within the customer and product master.
  3. Data Governance:
  4. Developing and enforcing data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory (where applicable) requirements.
  5. Data Integration Oversight: Responsible for ongoing data quality initiatives such as research, match/merging and various aspects of data cleansing to remediate issues identified while ensuring there is a single source of truth in data synchronization.
  6. Metadata Management:
  7. Maintaining and managing metadata, including definitions, data lineage, data ownership, while promoting greater understanding of the importance behind MDM governance.
  8. Training and Support:
  9. Provide training and support regarding data management tools, processes, best practices while fostering a culture of responsibility in data stewardship.
  10. Issue Resolution: Serve as a point of contact within assigned geography, for data related issues, and facilitate the resolution of discrepancies related to master data.
  11. Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor master data for quality issues while generating reports to keep key stakeholders informed about data quality metrics.
  12. Change Management:
  13. Manages changes to master data (updates, deletions) while ensuring MDM governance is adhered to.
  14. Continuous Improvement: consistently on the look-out for opportunities to improve master data management processes and contributes to ongoing MDM initiatives that enhance data governance policies.
  15. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide day-to-day support to cross-functional internal and external customers as related to customer accounts which includes legal entities, locations and contacts data elements and attribute


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  1. Key Skills: Experience with data quality, data integration and data analytics is a plus.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills facilitating assessment of data quality issues, identification of root causes and countermeasure development.
  3. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, EBX and SAP.
  4. Previous experience in a Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Steward role a plus.
  5. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as information technology, data management, business administration, computer science, or related discipline.
  6. Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  7. Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
  8. Must be able to work in a constantly changing environment and adapt easily.
  9. Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to MDM governance.
  10. Must have strong English language (other European-based language is a plus)
