Job Description:

The Brickers Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented volunteer Marketing Strategist to support the Foundation’s internal operations and external communications.

This position will work closely with the Founding Director to elevate the Foundation’s public presence, increase community awareness, and drive engagement with our mission. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with creative marketing insight and a passion for storytelling, community outreach, and brand development.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
  2. Promote awareness of programs, events, and initiatives through targeted outreach and campaigns.
  3. Oversee the Foundation’s social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and email communications to increase brand awareness.
  4. Execute cost-effective marketing initiatives, including email marketing, content marketing, and print advertising.
  5. Collaborate with internal operations (Graphics, Copywriting, Media) to drive community engagement.
  6. Strengthen and manage the Foundation’s brand identity across all platforms.
  7. Conduct market research to identify trends, community needs, and market landscape.
  8. Create compelling copy for various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns.

Skills

  1. Proficiency in SEO, digital marketing, and performance marketing techniques.
  2. Strong experience in social media marketing and multichannel campaign management.
  3. Experience with content marketing strategies that engage target audiences effectively.
  4. Understanding of email marketing best practices and tools.
  5. Ability to write persuasive copy that resonates with diverse audiences.
  6. Strong research skills to inform strategic decisions and identify market opportunities.
  7. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
