Position Overview:

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for enabling and executing marketing programs across multiple business segments by managing campaigns, workflows, advertising operations, and reporting infrastructure. The role serves as a central operational partner to marketing, sales, and internal teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently, accurately, and with strong cross‑functional coordination.


This position translates marketing plans into executable workstreams, manages timelines and dependencies, supports campaign data integrity and reporting, and provides operational support to internal stakeholders and external ad partners. Success in this role is defined by execution reliability, process discipline, and the ability to support multiple teams and priorities simultaneously.


Responsibilities:

Marketing Program & Campaign Operations (Cross‑Segment)

  1. Support execution of marketing campaigns across multiple segments and audiences, including email, social, paid media, webinars, and promotional programs.
  2. Develop target lists for all campaigns, ensuring alignment to segment, portfolio, and campaign objectives.
  3. Manage lead cleansing and upload from events, conferences, webinars, and SUNs to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  4. Coordinate campaign logistics such as timelines, approvals, asset readiness, segmentation, and distribution.
  5. Contribute to cross‑functional campaign collaboration, supporting coordination between marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders.
  6. Manage and coordinate virtual marketing events such as webinars and Product Showcases, including scheduling, arranging resources and speakers, and managing end‑to‑end process flows, supporting each segment team.


Workflow & Project Management

  1. Manage marketing tasks and workstreams within project management systems, ensuring clear scope, deadlines, and accountability.
  2. Manage the Marketing Connections Meeting, including setting agendas, finalizing monthly presentations, incorporating engagement elements, and distributing meeting minutes.
  3. Coordinate reviews and approvals across marketing, sales, and leadership stakeholders.
  4. Track progress, flag risks, and provide regular execution status updates to marketing leadership.
  5. Manage weekly Marketing Minutes meeting.
  6. Manage agendas for team meetings.


Sales & Internal Enablement

  1. Support sales enablement across segments.
  2. Function as an operational point of contact for sales and internal teams regarding marketing timelines, materials, and execution details.


Ad Partner & Stakeholder Coordination (Operational Support)

  1. Manage advertising operations, including spend tracking, calendar management, placement coordination, and preparation of advertising materials by portfolio.
  2. Provide operational support for marketing activities involving external ad partners, associations, and vendors across segments.
  3. Organize and facilitate product photo shoots and video shoots, both inhouse and at customer or client sites as needed.
  4. Coordinate asset delivery, approvals, and communications to ensure ad partners and internal teams have what is needed for execution.
  5. Maintain organized documentation of ad partner‑related marketing activities and deliverables.

Reporting, Tracking & Documentation

  1. Track executional status of marketing initiatives across segments, maintaining visibility into what is completed, in review, or in progress.
  2. Support analytic reporting development, including contributions to LMM‑related reporting.
  3. Maintain organized records of assets, communications, workflows, marketing process documentation, and templates.
  4. Support marketing projects as assigned and assist the team as needed during peak periods or special initiatives.
  5. Provide operational marketing support to internal teams as needed, including Customer Success, Government, National
  6. Accounts, GPO's, including Sourcewell and Kinetic, and the Networking team.


Requirements:

  1. Ideal candidate must reside in East Coast or Central Time Zones
  2. Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline required, master’s degree preferred
  3. 3–6 years in marketing operations, campaign operations, or marketing coordination
  4. Direct experience supporting campaigns through email, digital advertising, webinars, and promotional programs
  5. Experience developing target lists, managing segmentation, and supporting campaign deployment
  6. Practical exposure to lead management, including cleansing, validation, uploads, and handoff after events and campaigns
  7. Approximately 25% travel expectation


Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000, eligible for a 9% annual bonus
