Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will play a key role in managing our social media channels, creating content, engaging with our audience, and assisting with other ad hoc marketing tasks. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2024.

Reports To: Marketing Specialist

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Post and engage with users on our social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X/twitter.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to plan, develop, and distribute marketing content to existing and potential customers via social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Update brand materials and evaluate marketing collateral.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of email marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Use marketing analytics to inform decisions around marketing strategies and their execution.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a club, company, or other organization.
  • Familiarity with digital content creation including social media, email marketing, and website content.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Power Point, and exposure to graphic design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce, or another CRM tool, is preferred, but not required.

 

Compensation

  • Hourly pay based on skills and experience.
