We’re looking for: A hands-on, results-oriented marketing doer — someone who loves learning by jumping in, thrives on details and gets real satisfaction from helping campaigns come to life.
As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in turning strategy into action across marketing campaigns - direct mail, email, SMS, paid media, web and AI-powered experiences. This is a role for someone who enjoys keeping moving parts organized, supporting daily department logistics, and executing on tactics.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Analytics and cross-functional partners, you’ll help ensure our campaigns are accurate, on time and built to perform — all in service of something bigger: feeding our neighbors and strengthening our community.
What you’ll do:
- Omnichannel Campaign Execution & Operations
- Support the rollout of marketing campaigns across direct mail, email, SMS, paid media, web, and AI-supported tools.
- Assist with campaign setup, readiness checks, and operational coordination across channels.
- Prepare key campaign components including audiences, creative assets, messaging, timing, and tracking.
- Ensure lists, links, platforms, and tagging are configured correctly prior to launch.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support delivery and performance review.
List, Direct Mail, Email & SMS Support
- Assist with quality control for direct mail campaigns (copy, creative, segmentation, versioning).
- Support list management tasks such as data loading, cleanup, deduplication and validation.
- Help with basic segmentation and light reporting to inform future planning.
- Support execution of email and SMS campaigns as part of broader omnichannel efforts.
- Maintain documentation for workflows, naming conventions and list processes.
Website & Digital Experience Support
- Work with an external web developer on site updates, security and maintenance.
- Manage incoming website requests and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor website performance using GA4 and support basic SEO best practices.
- Support donation page setup and upkeep in GoFundMe Pro.
- Gain exposure to tools like Google Tag Manager and Search Console.
Secondary Function - Creative & Campaign Coordination Support
- Build and schedule email campaigns for key giving moments and match periods.
- Prepare creative assets for digital advertising and serve as backup contact with media agency.
- Support Meta Ads execution (Google Ads familiarity is a plus).
- Apply UTM tagging and ensure links/tracking are accurate across digital efforts.
- Maintain an organized library of creative assets and past campaign materials.
- Draft or edit small-scale copy (subject lines, alt text, short descriptions, light web copy_).
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile basic performance snapshots across channels.
- Flag trends, data issues, or questions for review by the marketing and analytics team.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, digital marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting marketing campaigns, digital marketing, fundraising marketing, communications or a related field.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with email marketing, digital marketing platforms, CRM systems or marketing automation tools.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving forward.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to quality assurance, accuracy and consistency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external vendors and agency partners.
- Comfortable working with data, including lists, audience segmentation and basic campaign performance reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively use new marketing technologies and platforms.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and knowing when to escalate questions or concerns.
Ideally Will Have:
Demonstrated interest in emerging marketing technologies, including artificial intelligence and AI-powered customer experiences.
Curiosity about how marketing systems, technologies and emerging digital tools can improve marketing performance and audience engagement.
Experience using AI-powered tools, chatbots or other emerging digital technologies in a marketing or communications environment.
