About The Role


We are seeking a talented Marketing Content Writer to join our team as a full-time, remote employee. This position offers a competitive annual salary of $60,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, compelling, and persuasive content across various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media channels. The role involves conducting thorough research to understand our services and industry landscape, collaborating with designers and other writers, and contributing to the development of new websites and products. While high-quality copy is essential, we also emphasize the importance of thoughtful research, experimentation, and continuous improvement in content creation. Qualifications


  1. Experience in content writing, preferably with pitching and placement with third-party websites
  2. Experience collaborating with design teams or multimedia professionals
  3. Strong research skills and the ability to learn complex topics quickly
  4. Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and conciseness
  5. Ability to handle constructive criticism professionally
  6. Background in journalism, creative writing, or similar fields; graduate degrees such as MFAs are a plus
  7. Previous experience working at an advertising agency or digital marketing firm is desirable
  8. Proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms
  9. Self-motivated with the ability to pitch ideas independently and work collaboratively
  10. Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and content development

Responsibilities


  1. Create compelling, persuasive content for websites, blogs, and social media outlets that aligns with company goals and branding standards
  2. Conduct market research to identify content opportunities and develop strategic content plans for existing and new websites
  3. Collaborate with writers, designers, and developers to produce high-quality digital content
  4. Pitch innovative ideas for new websites, products, and services, contributing to the company's growth and diversification
  5. Oversee content projects from inception to publication, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
  6. Engage in continuous learning to understand our services and industry trends, applying insights to content creation
  7. Monitor content performance and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize engagement and reach
  8. Maintain professionalism and resilience when receiving feedback or facing tight deadlines
