As the Content & Social Media Specialist with a focus on eyecare, you will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling content for our social media channels and various marketing communications as required. As a key member of our team, the Content and Social Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in strengthening our brand presence and connecting with our target audience.
Your primary objective is to manage the content creation and publishing process, and monitor content metrics for up to 7 brands of the PRN portfolio. To ensure success as a content & social media specialist, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. You should be an expert storyteller and possess excellent knowledge of consumer and content trends.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize, create, curate, and execute marketing campaigns and materials, including email newsletters, blog posts, website content, PR, and other digital marketing assets. Develop content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals. Ensure that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented. Manage content calendars and ensure that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop and implement social media content strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. Create captivating and visually appealing posts that align with our brand identity and resonate with our followers. Develop and implement community and influencer marketing strategies.
- Content Portfolio: Showcase a strong content portfolio, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully executing various marketing communications projects. Highlight your ability to create persuasive and impactful content that drives results.
- Digital and Social Savviness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to implement innovative strategies. Utilize data analytics and insights to optimize content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Brand Voice and Consistency: Ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging. Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
- Strong Writing Skills: Exhibit exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and concise copy that captivates the audience and communicates our key messages effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, photographers, and marketing managers, to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and maintain open lines of communication.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensuring compliance through partnership with Regulatory, Legal, and other required functions. Ability to proactively maintain compliant digital and print assets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a marketer in the eyecare or wellness space, with a focus on content marketing.
- A portfolio of published work, over various marketing communications projects.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Creative mindset and the ability to inspire.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
