Legacy Realty of Iowa is seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing & Content Coordinator to join our marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this individual will support the marketing efforts of Legacy Realty of Iowa and Clarkson Realty Group through digital content creation, video production, photography, event support, and various marketing initiatives.

This is a hands-on, multifaceted marketing position that goes beyond social media management. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating digital content, producing videos, capturing photography, supporting company events, and assisting with a variety of marketing initiatives.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being creative, collaborating with others, and taking initiative. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing independent projects with hands-on responsibilities throughout the Des Moines metro area.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Manage social media accounts for Legacy Realty of Iowa and Clarkson Realty Group.
• Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across multiple platforms.
• Develop content calendars, write captions, and monitor social media performance.
• Maintain consistent branding and identify new opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness.

Video Production & Content Creation

• Film and edit listing videos, agent spotlights, educational content, recruiting videos, and event recaps.
• Collaborate with agents and leadership to plan and execute video content.
• Help direct individuals on camera and create engaging, professional videos.
• Stay current with social media trends, video editing techniques, and content strategies.

Photography & Graphic Design

• Capture photos at company events, team functions, and other marketing activities.
• Assist with agent headshots, branding photography, and special projects.
• Edit and organize photography for marketing use.
• Design marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and promotional content.

Marketing & Event Support

• Assist with planning, promoting, and executing company events and marketing campaigns.
• Provide hands-on event support, including setup, coordination, and photography.
• Support recruiting initiatives, client appreciation events, and agent marketing needs.
• Assist with additional marketing projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related field.
• Experience filming, editing, and producing video content.
• Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, branding, and digital marketing trends.
• Photography and graphic design experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable collaborating with agents, leadership, and team members.
• Self-motivated, dependable, creative, and willing to take initiative.
• Real estate industry experience is a plus but not required.

Work Location & Travel

This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Ankeny office. Regular local travel throughout the Des Moines metro area is required, including visits to other office locations, properties, and company events.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with a flexible daily schedule based on filming, photography, and event needs.

What to Expect

No two days are exactly alike! One day you may be designing graphics and editing videos, while the next you're filming with agents, photographing an event, or helping bring a marketing campaign to life.
