Roots 66 is a growing brand focused on sustainability, local commerce, and creative reuse—blending retail, community, and innovation.

Pahrump Life Magazine is a newly acquired and evolving media platform focused on telling the stories of our town, highlighting local businesses, and building community connection.

Together, we are building something bigger: a local media + commerce ecosystem that can expand across rural communities.

The Role

We’re looking for a Website Developer to help design, build, and launch websites for both Roots 66 and Pahrump Life Magazine - and help us scale beyond that.

This is not just a “build a site and disappear” role. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the brand.

This is all wordpress / squaresite. Very fun stuff for anyone who can find their way around a computer. No web development experience required. Just someone who can LEARN!

What You’ll Do

1. Build and launch:
2. Roots 66 website (e-commerce + brand storytelling)
3. Pahrump Life Magazine site (articles, ads, digital magazine integration)
4. Work within or alongside WordPress (preferred) or similar platforms
5. Integrate:
6. E-commerce functionality (Shop, listings, possibly vendor features)
7. Newsletter/email capture
8. Digital magazine or flipbook integration
9. Optimize for:
10. Mobile-first experience
11. Speed and usability
12. Clean, modern design
13. Collaborate on structure, not just execution—we want your input

What We’re Looking For

1. Entry Level / Someone with a logistical mindset and a marketing brain.
2. Strong understanding of:
3. Bonus if you have experience with:
4. Wordpress
5. E-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
6. SEO basics
7. Media or content-driven sites
8. Ability to take a concept and turn it into something real

Compensation

1. Flexible based on experience - 12.00 per hour with room for growth!
