Maui Rippers is a surf-inspired lifestyle brand rooted in ocean culture, travel, and effortless style. We’re a family business looking for someone to help us build a strong, authentic presence both online and in the real world.

This role is for someone who understands that great marketing isn’t just posting — it’s community, storytelling, and creating a feeling people want to be a part of!

*The role is remote, but San Diego or Hawaii based is highly preferred

What You’ll Do

1. Manage and execute our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram (Maui Rippers + Maui Rippers Women), and TikTok (3–4 posts/week + daily story activity)
2. Create email marketing campaigns (approx. 4/month) and update/refine email flows as needed
3. Assist with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok ads (campaign setup + optimization - Knowledge of how to create Google ads are also a plus)
4. Curate and repost UGC (user-generated content) and community moments
5. Build relationships with creators, athletes, and individuals aligned with surf, fishing, paddling, and ocean lifestyle
6. Coordinate product gifting and ambassador partnerships
7. Create and manage a content calendar + brand storytelling direction
8. Be willing to get creative and film Reel/TikTok content when needed
9. Maintain and optimize the brand website by updating Shopify, refreshing visual assets, and supporting the curation of digital merchandising aligned with our marketing campaigns

What We’re Looking For

1. 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or community roles
2. Some AI knowledge base and willing to learn and implement new tools
3. Strong understanding of eCommerce and conversion optimization
4. 2+ years of experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
5. Experience creating, posting, and optimizing ads
6. Experience with Shopify merchandising and visual presentation is a strong plus
7. Strong eye for content, aesthetic, and brand voice
8. Ability to edit video content in a way that feels unique, engaging, and aligned with our brand
9. Proficiency in Photoshop or Figma
10. Deep understanding of surf, ocean, or coastal lifestyle culture
11. Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and excited to grow with our brand!
