Job Description:

Help us rewrite the future of mental healthcare.

One in five adults lives with a mental health condition. The treatments we hand them haven't meaningfully changed in 40 years, and they fail more often than they work.

NeuroVitals is changing that. We're building the world's first precision mental health platform, grounded in metabolic psychiatry, the fast-emerging science showing that depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other conditions are often rooted in metabolic dysfunction the current system never tests for. Our platform combines blood biomarkers, validated psychosocial assessments, and AI-driven personalization to give patients and clinicians a real map of what's actually going on in the brain, and what to do about it.

We're a tight, senior team: a former unicorn CEO, a former Google executive, an Oxford/Harvard neuroscientist with over a million followers, and clinicians from leading institutions. We're heads-down on our MVP launch this summer, and we want a sharp marketing intern in the room while it happens.

What you'll actually do

This is not a "shadow the team" internship. You'll own work that ships.

  1. Build and run social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok. The kind that earns real engagement, not vanity metrics.
  2. Help launch our MVP1 platform to the world (yes, in your three months here).
  3. Turn complex science (biomarkers, ketogenic protocols, metabolic psychiatry) into stories everyday people want to read and share.
  4. Research the DTC mental health landscape and bring back ideas we haven't tried yet.
  5. Track what's working (and what's not), report it weekly, and help us double down on the winners.
  6. Collaborate directly with our CEO, CTO, Chief Scientific Officer, and design lead, not five layers down from them.

You'll be a great fit if you

  1. Write well. Not "good for a student" well. Actually well. Clear, warm, and human.
  2. Live on social media and have opinions about which brands are doing it right and which are not.
  3. Are obsessed with health, neuroscience, longevity, or mental health, or hungry to be.
  4. Move fast, finish things, and don't need to be told twice.
  5. Are comfortable with ambiguity. At a 15-person startup, the brief is rarely complete.
  6. Bring real ideas, not just execution. We want your taste, not just your hours.

Nice-to-haves: Figma, Canva, basic video editing (CapCut/Premiere), email tools (Klaviyo or similar), HubSpot, copywriting samples, a personal blog or social presence we can look at.

Who you are (on paper)

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergrad or master's program in marketing, communications, psychology, neuroscience, public health, journalism, or anything in that orbit. We care more about how you think than what you majored in.

The details

  1. Dates: Early June through end of August 2026 (12 weeks; we'll flex around finals)
  2. Hours: 40/week, full-time
  3. Location: Fully remote. Work from anywhere with solid internet.
  4. Pay: $20/hour
  5. Reports to: Marketing lead, with regular exposure to the founding team

What you'll leave with

A real portfolio of work, a working knowledge of how a venture-backed health startup gets built from zero, a direct line to senior operators and scientists who will pick up the phone for you for years, and if things go well, a standing offer to come back.

How to apply

Send the following to info@neurovitalsai.com with the subject line "Marketing Intern – [Your Name]":

  1. A short note (under 150 words) telling us why this, not a generic "I'm passionate about marketing."
  2. Your resume and/or LinkedIn.
  3. Two examples of marketing or writing work you're proud of. Posts, threads, a class project, a Substack, whatever shows how you think.

Bonus points: pitch us one piece of content you'd make for NeuroVitals in your first week.

Rolling applications. We'll close it when we find the right person.
