The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

 

- Assist the R&D Manager with day-to-day tasks as required

- Weigh formula ingredients for individual trials and customer samples

- Conduct pilots for new and existing products

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards

- Prepare and ship bulk product and samples to customers and external partners

- Clean and maintain R&D equipment for trials

- Run encapsulation and/or compression pilots for applicable products

- Collaborate with other R&D teams as directed

- Maintain accurate laboratory records and document pilot results

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage ingredient inventory

- Provide support to QA, production, and R&D teams as needed

- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production challenges

- Complete necessary paperwork and communicate changes to production

- Address deviations and change orders to Master Manufacturing Records

- Assess raw materials for production use

- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the R&D laboratory

 

Qualifications:

 

- Non-supervisory position

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Minimum one year of relevant work experience

- No certifications or licenses necessary

- Moderate proficiency in math, reading, writing, and language skills

- Basic computer skills in MS Office required

- Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures

- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation

- Reliable attendance record with minimal unplanned absences
