As a Door Shop Assembler, employees will work as a team to build high-quality door systems using machining equipment, assembly stations, routers, and pneumatic power tools.

HOURS: Day shift: Monday-Friday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 40 hours per week (overtime as needed).

WAGE: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pull, prepare, and machine wood millwork components.
• Operate machinery and tools to create pre-hung doors and door systems ready to be installed in a rough opening at a jobsite.
• Read and accurately build units according work orders, and receive written and verbal instructions for work completion.

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• A team player with positive communication skills.
• Hard working, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th / inch and safely operate hand tools and automated equipment with training.
• Possess vision abilities including peripheral vision.
• Able to stand (8-9 hrs per day), walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds
• Collaborate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds, and maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds.
