We are a property management company looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property maintenance and renovation projects. The ideal candidate would be someone with Project Management or other related management experience, as well as apartment/rental property handyman experience. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and creative to take a leadership role in growing the department and creating new systems and organization.

Must have a reliable vehicle to use to get to job sites.

About us:

Vertex Real Estate is a growing residential property management company overseeing a variety of rental properties located around Western Massachusetts. We have a variety of houses, multi-unit buildings, rental condos, and small complexes. We have properties primarily in Amherst, Northampton, West Springfield, and surrounding towns in Western Massachusetts.

Hours:

Regular Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm schedule. Weekend and on-call availability may be required on a rotation basis.

Requirements:

• Existing skills in property maintenance and management.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance staff.
• Lead weekly maintenance meeting.
• Supervise work orders from start to end.
• Responsible for coordinating with maintenance assistant on day-to-day activity, which includes but is not limited to: Inventory, storage space, dispatch, etc.
• Responsible for coordinating with Property Managers with duties such as: Town inspections, weekly trash pickup, etc.
• Responsible for helping management with planning and executing unit turnovers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues while working independently.
• A reliable vehicle to use to get to job sites.
• MA Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

The starting rate will be a minimum of $26+ based on experience.
