About Electro-Optic Materials
Power in space. Vision at night. Coatings thinner than human hair. We guarantee our customers secure access to supply, plus recycling technologies that give materials a new lease of life. To produce materials with even higher performance, and provide recycling to new markets, we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new processes. Which is where you come in.
What you will be doing
Electrical:
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation; inspect for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires
Review work orders and consult with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and root cause
Ability to diagnose and repair electronic components such as wiring, PLC's and transformers
Install, service and repair electric motors, heaters and other related electrical equipment using various hand and power tools
Mechanical:
Service and repair appliances such as generators and saws
Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
Plumbing/Fluid:
Service and repair appliances such as fans, scrubbers and chillers
Perform maintenance on central steam and chemical water treatment systems
Assemble, test and repair various pumps, valves and other mechanical systems
Who we are looking for
You have a minimum of two years technical training/college coursework or two years experience in a manufacturing environment working in industrial maintenance/electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
You have proficient computer skills; PLC experience a plus
You have an open personality, you are a relationship builder and you nurture partnerships
You are a true team player with a habit of open and transparent communication
You are an excellent communicator with good oral and written skills
