Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL-based enterprise systems. The role involves software development, system analysis, maintenance, and production support within large-scale mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in core mainframe technologies and experience working on complex application enhancements and support projects.

Must-have Skills:

1. 8–10 years of programming experience
2. COBOL
3. JCL
4. VSAM
5. DB2
6. CICS
7. FILEAID
8. SPUFI
9. Changeman or Endevor
10. Minimum 5 years of IT systems analysis and programming experience
11. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications
2. Perform system analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions
3. Support production systems and troubleshoot application issues
4. Work with DB2 databases and batch/online processing (CICS/JCL)
5. Manage code deployments using version control tools (Changeman/Endevor)
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance
