Performing general mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance of facility and equipment in a timely and courteous manner.Duties include:- Performing maintenance of electrical and electronic components of manufacturing equipment and of facility systems up to 480 volts.- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems including faulty electrical and electronic components such as relays, sensors, switches, and motors.- Troubleshooting and repairing machine controls.- Troubleshooting motors, pumps, compressors, and any other systems in the plant.- Performing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of manufacturing equipment.- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems and making repairs as needed.- Performing basic welding, brazing, and cutting to fabricate items such as guardrails, brackets, and hangers.- Using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments accurately.- Preparing and operating machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and mills to repair or fabricate machine parts and/or fixtures. - Bending conduit and pulling the wire.- Operating Scissors and Fork-Lifts.- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.- Supporting various recycling programs such as light bulbs, batteries, and metals.
