Litigation Writer – Class Action, Wage & Hour (Plaintiff-Side)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Compensation: $95,000 – $140,000 base

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized plaintiff-side law firm is rapidly expanding its Class Action Wage & Hour practice and is seeking experienced Litigation Writer to support a high-volume portfolio of complex, high-impact cases.

This team handles large-scale wage & hour class actions, PAGA matters, and complex employment litigation across multiple states. As the practice grows, the firm is prioritizing strong legal writers who can deliver top-tier written advocacy.


Role Overview

The Litigation Writer will work closely with senior and mid-level attorneys to draft high-quality motions, briefs, oppositions, and research memoranda for state and federal court matters. This is a critical writing-heavy position that directly supports litigation strategy and case outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft persuasive briefs, motions, oppositions, and supporting documents for class action Wage & Hour matters.
  2. Conduct comprehensive legal research on complex issues.
  3. Assist with drafting discovery responses, declarations, and case materials.
  4. Collaborate with attorneys to prepare filings in state and federal courts.
  5. Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, high-impact litigation environment.


Qualifications

  1. 3+ years’ experience in legal writing within litigation, class actions, appellate work, or employment law.
  2. Strong preference for candidates with plaintiff-side or Wage & Hour experience.
  3. Exceptional written advocacy, issue-spotting, and analytical skills.
  4. Ability to produce clear, concise, and highly persuasive legal documents.
  5. JD or licensed attorney preferred.
  6. Bar admission in CA, WA, IL, NY, or CO is a plus but not mandatory.
