We’re now building the marketing engine to match that scale, and that means creating an exceptional experience for every user from the moment they sign up.


This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll own the full post-signup journey, from free trial activation through to paid conversion and renewal, and you’ll design the lifecycle infrastructure that makes it happen. No inherited playbook. No overmanaged backlog. Just a high-impact problem, the right tools, and the trust to go build.


The role, honestly


This is not a “send the newsletter and report on open rates” job. If that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t the right fit.


This is a role for someone who thinks in revenue. Someone who sees a user’s behaviour in Amplitude and immediately knows what message, at what moment, through what channel, will move them to the next stage. You’ll own free-to-paid conversion as your headline KPI, build the programmes that retain and expand paid customers, and work hand-in-hand with our Growth Product leader to unlock in-dashboard moments that marketing alone can’t reach.


You will have real influence on:

The segmentation model: who our users are, what jobs they’re doing, and which path converts them fastest

The onboarding and activation experience for every free trial user

How HubSpot and Amplitude work together to power intelligent, timely lifecycle programmes

In-product lifecycle moments, built in collaboration with the Growth Product team

The revenue contribution of lifecycle as a channel, measured, reported, and owned


You will get to make decisions. You will get to be wrong sometimes. You will ship.


How we actually work


We move fast. Weeks, not quarters. We’d rather ship a lean programme, learn from real user behaviour, and

iterate than spend a month building the “perfect” nurture sequence nobody has tested.


Amplitude is your source of truth. We don’t guess at what users are doing. We see it. Lifecycle decisions here are grounded in behavioural data, not assumptions.


HubSpot is your execution layer. You’ll be the primary operator. Build the contact model, segmentation logic, workflows, and automation architecture and own it end-to-end.


Autonomy is the default. No layers of approvals. You’ll partner directly with the Performance Marketing Director, the Growth Product leader, and marketing leadership. You’re trusted to make the call.


Remote-first, globally distributed. We’ve been remote since day one. We optimise for async work, written thinking, and people who get things done without being managed.


What You’ll Do

Own the full post-signup journey, from free trial activation through to paid conversion, renewal, and expansion. This is your funnel end-to-end.

Design and build the onboarding experience for every new free user. Define what activation means for Visme, and build the sequences that get users there fast.

Run the free-to-paid conversion programme: behavioural segmentation, upgrade triggers, plan messaging, and the right nudge at the right moment.

Build lifecycle programmes for both self-serve (PLG) and sales-assisted accounts. The unmanaged user converts through what you build; the managed account pipeline is strengthened by it.

Partner with the Growth Product leader on in-dashboard lifecycle moments: upgrade prompts, feature discovery nudges, and usage milestones. Marketing and product working as one team.

Own retention and renewal. Build the early warning system in Amplitude, intervene before users disengage, and run the programmes that keep paid customers coming back.

Build expansion revenue programmes. Upsell and seat expansion are the most capital-efficient revenue Visme has, and this role owns it.

Operate HubSpot and Amplitude as your primary tools: contact model, automation architecture, segmentation logic, dashboards, and reporting to leadership.

What we're looking for

5–8+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing at a SaaS company. You’ve owned a revenue KPI, not just an engagement metric.

Proven ownership of free-to-paid or trial-to-paid conversion as a primary metric. Not a secondary contribution. The headline number.

Hands-on HubSpot operator. You build workflows, sequences, and contact models yourself and don’t just brief an agency.

Comfortable in Amplitude or equivalent product analytics. You read behavioural data and turn it into programme decisions.

You’ve built lifecycle infrastructure from scratch, not just inherited a mature stack and maintained it.

You’ve worked across both self-serve and sales-assisted motions, or have strong, grounded context on both.

You measure your own impact in revenue terms. Open rates are inputs, not outcomes.

Clear written communication in English. We’re async-heavy and writing is how you collaborate and lead here.

You’d be joining at the moment Visme is building its lifecycle capability for the first time. You’ll have a clear mandate, the right tools, and a product that tens of millions of people already love. The infrastructure you design here will be the foundation the business scales on.
