Seeking a Legal Proofreader to work for a great firm in midtown NYC! Candidate must have 5 years of legal experience.
Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include cold reads and full reads, ability to read printed, word-processed and handwritten documents against a mark-up to look for any grammar typos. Will also be doing cross reference checks, termed index checks, financial printer proofs, manual blacklining and redlining, creating PDF's using E-copy, and more!
Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Minimum of five years of proofreading experience at a law firm.
This will be on-site for training and then mostly remote!
