Our mid-sized corporate law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Marketing Manager to work 75% or full-time schedule on a fully-remote basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation, planning and management of short- and long-term business development and marketing initiatives.
- Managing the firm's website, social media accounts, and email campaigns.
- Developing content for event and non-event related marketing materials, brochures, e-mail, and other similar formats. Manage related production and distribution. Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Identifying and securing external conference speaking opportunities by monitoring event calendars, trade and legal publications, and business news.
- Working with attorneys on business development activities, including assisting with tracking and follow-up.
- Leading responses to RFPs/RFIs, pitches and proposals, including drafting initial RFP responses and providing strategic direction on complex, multi-layer pitch scenarios.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a marketing specialist or manager in a law firm
- Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or education/experience equivalent
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc)
- Knowledge of website technology and mass e-mail distribution software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
