NRS-A ComplySci Company  is looking for an engaging and detail-oriented Legal Content Writer   to join our growing organization. This position will report to Director, Product Development, and will be responsible for writing regulatory compliance content throughout our products. Responsibilities: 

Reporting to Director, Product Development, the Product Manager is responsible for research, analysis, and authorship of content on new developments, trends, and key requirements relating to SEC, MSRB and FINRA regulations.

The candidate will work across business units to implement regularly scheduled updates for NRS products as well as plan, maintain, update and enhance content and applications. This includes scheduled content updates including static and dynamic data and workflow applications and requires initiative and skill in writing, research, project, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiation of content updates to compliance products on multiple company platforms, including but not limited to policies and procedures relating to SEC, MSRB and FINRA regulations.
• Maintain a working knowledge of proposed and new regulations as well as best practices in the industry.
• Authoring clear, concise and accurate content.
• Work across multiple platforms in the development of new or updated content.
• Write news items to keep clients abreast of regulatory developments.
• Marketing Assistance – Assist the marketing departments by providing content for marketing materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a J.D. or Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent compliance experience.
• Experience with securities regulations through roles in consulting, compliance, legal or related occupations is required.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills are required.
• Articulate, self-motivated, and an excellent writer with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and/or Securities Exchange Acts, FINRA rules and regulations governing broker dealers.

   

The compensation range for this role is specific to the United States and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, training, licensure and certification, and experience. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role would be $80,000-$100,000 plus applicable bonus/benefits offerings, etc as those similarly situated within the Company.
