The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. Medical malpractice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Legal fact and basic legal research
• Assist with case management
• Organize and electronically file pleadings
• Coordinate and schedule calendars

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
• Familiarity with NYSCEF
• Ability to draft litigation documents including Complaints, Bills of Particulars, discovery demands and responses and basic motions
