Lead Rails Engineer – Growth Platform

100% remote (US-based), Up to $230,000 + Benefits

We're working with a fast-growing, well-funded legal organization that is currently developing a suite of new products for both internal and external users. They’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer with deep experience in Ruby on Rails and a strong track record of building marketing-facing products, including experimentation infrastructure, onboarding flows, landing pages, and internal tools to support growth.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you’ll lead core technical decisions while collaborating cross-functionally with a seasoned team of engineers.

What You'll Do

1. Lead development of growth-focused features across the stack (Rails + modern JS)
2. Build internal tools to support A/B testing, CRO, and SEO optimization
3. Own technical decisions, architecture, and mentoring for a small engineering team
4. Move quickly from idea to launch, and iterate based on data

Who You Are:

1. Has deep Ruby on Rails experience and has led or owned production systems
2. Has built marketing-focused tools, such as onboarding flows, landing page systems, SEO enhancements, or analytics pipelines
3. Has experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and CRO tooling
4. Can balance clean technical architecture with quick, iterative shipping
5. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, early-stage environment

Bonus Points

1. Experience with tools like Amplitude, Segment, LaunchDarkly, or Optimizely
2. Prior experience in a B2B SaaS startup
3. A product mindset and strong UX sensibility
