Your Team & Role

As a Lead, Infrastructure Security Engineer - PAM / Secrets Management in the Data Protection team you will partner with product owners, tech leads, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve Prudential’s Privileged Access Management platform.  An important function is to ensure the Privileged Access Management platform remain in compliance with the Information Security Standards and processes. You will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
 

• Collaborate with the data protection product owner and team to execute product vision & strategy
• Provide timely subject matter expertise for critical decisions to implement goals.
• Identify areas of opportunity, identify root cause, research, and provide resolution.
• Architect, design, assess, and address Data Protection Privileged Access Management and Secrets Management strategies.
• Communicate effectively to key stakeholders and associates.
• Ensures product security is maintained throughout the product lifecycle, integrating new security features and updates into existing products.
• Coordinate the scheduling of patches and upgrades of Identity Management platform systems as well as ensure accurate operational information in CMDB.
• Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide recommendations and coach team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day.
• Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a results-based team environment.
• Review and understand all applicable Information Security Standards and Engineering Specifications; create an action plan to remediate out of compliance issues.
• Ensures product security is maintained throughout the product lifecycle, integrating new security features and updates into existing products.
   

The Skills & Expertise You Bring
 

• Ability to provide subject matter expertise and execute multiple programs/projects simultaneously.
• High degree of proficiency in developing target & current state architectures, identify gaps, build a roadmap for tactical phased implementations to achieve target state.
• Ability to use data and analysis to determine attack surfaces, remediation work effort, and governance to determine integrity, and sustainability of controls.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross enterprise team.
• Provide subject matter expertise in multiple domain focus areas including but not limited to:
  • Privileged Access Management and Secrets Management tooling such as CyberArk, HashiCorp.
  • Understanding of Windows controls for local, directory, and federated account and group management
  • Understanding of Linux controls for local, directory, and federated account and group management
  • Understanding of SaaS account and group management, federation, and SSO
• Operation of the Privileged Access Management platform, including account management, secrets management, systems, and software patching
• Ability to automate processes for the administration of Privileged Access Management and Secrets Management services.
• Ability to integrate Privileged Access Management and Secrets Management with services such as ServiceNow, SailPoint, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Equinix), VMware, Windows, and RHEL
• Ability to integrate with monitoring solutions such as Splunk and Prometheus including development of custom dashboards and alerts.
• Provide rotational on-call support.

The salary range for this role is from $129,900.00 to $193,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
