Compensation: Base circa $170k + benefits + equity/share options


About the Role


We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer to serve as a technical anchor for our platform during a phase of rapid scaling. Your primary mission will be to architect and implement the foundational systems required to support hyper-growth—ensuring reliability, performance, and extensibility. You will take ownership of our core architecture and lead the development of secure, sophisticated integration frameworks that deliver significant value to our enterprise clients.


This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role designed for a senior engineer who thrives on solving complex, ambiguous problems and is motivated by technical leadership and mentorship.


Key Outcomes & Responsibilities


  1. Architect for Scale: Lead performance and scalability initiatives across the full stack. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain platform speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency amid exponential growth in users and data.
  2. Build a Foundational Integration Framework: Design, develop, and maintain a secure, well-documented system for custom integrations (e.g., public APIs, webhooks, third-party data synchronization) that becomes a core competitive advantage for our enterprise offering.
  3. Improve Development Health & Velocity: Champion engineering practices that increase code completeness, reduce work-in-progress, and enhance the team’s ability to ship complex, high-quality features predictably.
  4. Elevate Team Capability: Act as a force multiplier through mentorship, technical guidance, and insightful code reviews. Share knowledge and best practices to raise the technical bar across the engineering organization.

  2. Backend: PHP/Laravel (API-focused), running on AWS Lightsail
  3. Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cloudflare D1 (SQLite)
  4. DevOps & Tools: Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, Linux, NGINX, Docker/Dev Containers, Vite
  5. Testing: Playwright, Cypress, PHPUnit/Pest, Vitest/Mocha
  6. Design & UI: Figma, Lottie, Storybook
