For our client, we are seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer AI to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $175,000 – $216,000 annually

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement the AI platform frontend using current frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
2. Build user-friendly interfaces for agent creation and monitoring workflows
3. Create reusable chatbot components for SaaS product integration
4. Develop responsive dashboards for analytics and performance metrics
5. Implement real-time updates for agent status and alerts
6. Collaborate closely with UX team to turn mockups into interactive designs
7. Ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend APIs

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. 8+ years of frontend development experience with 6+ years using modern JavaScript frameworks
3. Expert-level proficiency in React and/or Angular, focusing on performance optimization and component lifecycles
4. Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) features
5. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors or CSS-in-JS solutions
6. Experience with state management libraries for complex application state
7. Familiarity with build tools and bundlers, including Webpack and Vite
