What You’ll Do:

1. Design and scale APIs and data pipelines processing millions of records
2. Lead architecture of our microservices and backend systems
3. Work cross-functionally with product and data teams on new features
4. Implement validation algorithms and ensure high data quality
5. Own performance, resilience, and documentation standards
6. Mentor engineers and guide code review and design discussions

What You Bring:

1. Strong Python skills + experience with modern backend frameworks
2. Deep knowledge of relational & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
3. Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, K8s)
4. Background in ETL, data engineering, and secure API development
5. Bonus: Geospatial data experience and internationalization insight
6. Strong communication and team leadership skills
