Position: Landscape Architect, 6-10 years

Bothwell Landscape Studio creates contextually modern, crafted landscapes inspired by the Pacific Northwest. We value the design process and work collaboratively with architects and within the studio to produce thoughtful, beautiful projects that connect people with their immediate and broader surroundings. Our studio is in Northeast Portland, in a renovated industrial building. We currently focus on large-scale remodel residential, commercial and multi-acre development projects. We are a fast-paced design office. Our projects are deadline driven and may occasionally require extra commitment. We are seeking a motivated, design-oriented project manager who is passionate about design and interested in advancing their career. We focus on quality-built work and are currently working throughout the pacific northwest, and seeking opportunities to expand.

We have an opening for an experienced landscape architect.

The ideal candidates will have:

· Experience with complete project delivery through all phases of design-Analysis through through construction administration.

· Proficient in managing construction documents and tracking changes through all phases of work.

· All aspects of project management including internal and external communication and scheduling with clients, subconsultants and staff.

· Expertise in Autocad

· Managing/mentoring staff

· Leading construction administration

· Experience and ability to extend/expand conceptual basis of design through all project phases and design detailing

· Solid design skills as demonstrated by a strong portfolio

· Hand drawing skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Interest in and knowledge of construction detailing and how things are built

· Passion, enthusiasm, good listening skills and an ability to work collaboratively

· Adobe CC, MS Office, SketchUp are desirable

· Must work in office minimum 4 days per week

Education Requirements: Bachelor or master’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program.
