Summary: The KJUS | Associate Photo and Video Specialist will Assist in editing and preparing photography and video assets to support brand vision and target consumer.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in editing photography and video assets and selecting hero shots to support brand vision and target consumer. Ensure assets are compatible on various platforms such as website, in-store displays and social marketing. Support department with photography and videos for digital and print needs. Assist in editing e-commerce photos and resize to required specifications, ensuring graphics are clean and clear.
  • Help prep for photoshoot, preparing products in an organized manner to ensure efficiencies during the shoot. Assist team to ensure samples for shot list is prepared correctly, steamed, fit properly, and represent the product on models and mannequins.
  • Work with colleagues to select model outfits for collection-highlight photoshoots in alignment with the brand vision and feel. Help select and edit images for e-commerce and digital team. Assist in photo editing and color correction of product. Assist in photographing of product on mannequin, on live model, and as laydowns or folded stacks to then edit and produce the highest quality photography for all KJUS product categories in line with guidelines. Assist with photography and videography during photoshoots for golf, lifestyle, and ski collections in alignment with brand visual guidelines and storyboard.
  • Take ownership of tagging photos with proper metadata, create portals for sales team to gain access to all appropriate assets. Add all necessary copyright and metadata information and upload digital files to all channels on a regular basis. Ensure the images and videos are properly organized in all locations including the media database with proper internal and external access granted in cadence with product launches.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with course of study in photography, videography, graphic design, marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in photography, videography, or related field
  • Strong Photoshop proficiency (layer masks, pen tool, color curves, color correction, color editing), Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Studio photography, studio lighting, DSLR Videography, File organization, File naming, resizing, Action photography, Lifestyle photography.

 

At KJUS we feel that working from the office as much as possible increases collaboration, innovation, and productivity while contributing to our strong company culture. Candidates for this role are required to be local to the office and cannot be remote. However, after the first 60 days of employment, they have the option to partake in our hybrid work model if they believe they will thrive by incorporating the flexibility of a mixture of in-office and remote work.
