Over 40 years in business, Gilmans Kitchens and Baths looking for a creative and talented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing kitchens, understand the importance of customer service, be able to provide quality work and be able to work independently with little direction. The Kitchen Designer will work with a team to coordinate the move-in process for our clients. This position requires a background in planning and coordination, as well as understanding all aspects of kitchen design, layout and construction.
IMMEDIATE OPENING - We are seeking a KITCHEN AND BATH \ DESIGNER located in our San Mateo showroom.
Compensation is driven by a competitive base salary, monthly commissions, and quarterly/annual bonuses. Additionally, we offer paid time off (vacation/sick,) observe major holidays, and mileage reimbursement for site visits. Work week: Tuesday – Saturday 9 AM – 5 PM. Flexible hours available.

What we need:
- One or more years of retail experience
- Three years of kitchen design and sales experience
- Three years of cabinetry experience
- Proficiency with 2020 design software
- Client friendly and outcome orientated selling and closing skills
- Experience designing in all design styles - transitional, traditional and contemporary designs

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
