We are a marketing agency seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to create, customize, and maintain client websites. The ideal candidate will have experience designing responsive, user-friendly sites that align with each client’s goals and brand identity.

Pay will be $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, customize, and maintain websites exclusively using WordPress and Elementor
2. Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly UI components and layouts
3. Perform thorough QA testing and debugging to ensure the quality, responsiveness, and functionality of all websites
4. Ensure all sites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
5. Set up new websites on a development server and once approved, migrate to the client’s hosting environment
6. Configure DNS records and manage related domain setup tasks
7. Install and configure Google Site Kit for analytics and performance tracking
8. Add and manage tracking codes, including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and similar platforms
9. Implement and optimize Yoast SEO for on-page search optimization
10. Prefer experience creating and optimizing landing pages, particularly in Leadpages
11. Collaborate closely with our creative and project management teams to deliver on time and on brand
12. Use LastPass to securely manage and handle all sensitive credentials and client information

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites using Elementor
2. Strong understanding of web performance optimization, responsive design, and SEO best practices
3. Experience setting up Google Site Kit, Yoast SEO, and analytics tracking codes
4. Experience creating high-converting landing pages, preferably using Leadpages
5. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work
6. Must prioritize discretion, security, and confidentiality when handling client data

The right person must be able to work on a regular flexible schedule Monday-Friday during the hours of 9 am-5pm PST and be available for weekly meetings.
