We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer who can work well within a team with good communication skills and be motivated to learn new technologies! The candidate will be responsible for interpreting business requirements and use case functionality in order to develop programs that meet the expectations of the business. This candidate must have a solid understanding of programming techniques and industry trends!

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for code and automated test creation based on defined requirements/specifications.

• Writes code that can be easily maintained and adheres to coding standards.

• Develops clear, detailed technical and functional documentation that will facilitate support for developed solutions.

• Participates in peer code reviews.

• Tracks and communicates status of on-going projects to managers, team members & other appropriate personnel.

• Acquires knowledge of existing systems and the underlying business processes they support.

Experience:

• 2+ years of software development preferred.

• 1+ years of Angular experience preferred.

• Full MEAN stack development experience a plus (MongoDB, Express, Angular, NodeJS).

• Exposure to cloud-based frameworks, particularly AWS, a plus.

Skills:

• Proficient in at least one programming language with curiosity and exposure to multiple languages, frameworks and their principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
