The Opportunity

I am looking for an apprentice-level specialist to own the "under the hood" setup for our clients. I can do this work myself, but as we grow, I need someone who loves the logic of how things connect to take the lead on implementations. This is a training-heavy role—if you have the logical foundation (variables, triggers, code), I will mentor you into a world-class analytics specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. GTM & GA4: Setting up Google Tag Manager and GA4 properties from scratch using our internal "Infrastructure-first" checklist.
2. Conversion Wiring: Mapping lead forms and button clicks to ad pixels (Meta/Google) with 100% accuracy.
3. Search Console: Verifying site health and ensuring Google is indexing our clients correctly.
4. Troubleshooting: Identifying why a tag isn't firing or why a data layer variable is coming up undefined.

Who You Are:

1. Logic-First: You might be a CS student, a data analyst, or a hobbyist coder. You think in "If/Then" statements.
2. Detail-Obsessed: You understand that a missing semicolon or a typo in a trigger name ruins the data.
3. Communication-Focused: You can explain complex technical things simply.
4. Based in California: Due to our business structure, you must be a CA resident.
