About the Role
This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer impact.
Growth Path
Forward Deployed Engineers embed with customers, solve problems in production, and bring product insights back to the team. At Chirp AI, this role is a starting point. Over time you will develop from supporting tasks into owning full customer engagements and driving product direction.
About You
You are early in your career and eager to grow. You enjoy solving problems, learning fast, and working directly with both technology and customers. You are comfortable in the uncertainty of a startup environment and see it as an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact.

This role is not for someone who wants clear boundaries, stable processes, or a large team to lean on. At Chirp AI you will often need to figure things out yourself and move without a playbook.
If you are uncomfortable with uncertainty, shifting priorities, or wearing many hats, this role may feel frustrating. If you prefer to only code without talking to customers, or only talk to customers without touching the product, this will not be the right fit.
We are early and moving fast. Things will break, plans will change, and you will need to take ownership and adapt quickly.
