About the Role

This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer impact.

1. You will work closely with customers to understand their challenges and shape how our agents behave
2. You will contribute to internal development across agents, infrastructure, dashboards, cloud, testing, and monitoring
3. You will begin with support and collaboration, then grow into leading customer deployments and product improvements
4. You will build both technical depth and customer empathy, learning how to adapt solutions in real time

Growth Path

Forward Deployed Engineers embed with customers, solve problems in production, and bring product insights back to the team. At Chirp AI, this role is a starting point. Over time you will develop from supporting tasks into owning full customer engagements and driving product direction.

About You

You are early in your career and eager to grow. You enjoy solving problems, learning fast, and working directly with both technology and customers. You are comfortable in the uncertainty of a startup environment and see it as an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or equivalent Engineering discipline.
2. 2 or more years of hands-on software development experience with frontend or backend systems and frameworks.
3. Understanding and experience developing with Large Language Models (LLMs).
4. Experience using and developing with cloud services (AWS preferred).
5. Proven track record shipping and maintaining high-performance production applications.
6. Resilience, determination and a proactive, positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
7. A go getter that welcomes challenge and healthy debate.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
