NOW HIRING: Jewelry Sales Assistant

We need a new member to join our team! This role will be primarily on the sales floor offering support to our busy sales associates. This will include greeting and offering basic assistance to clients, assisting the sales associates (with research, cleaning jewelry, etc.), answering phones, and helping with set up and take down of the store each day. This position could grow into a career in jewelry sales or another aspect of the industry!

Our ideal candidate will be bright, friendly, and an enthusiastic learner. The candidate will be ready to hit the ground running with a positive attitude and an eagerness for jewelry. We are willing to train most aspects of the job to ensure our mutual success. Our team works closely with one another each day, so being a team player is essential!

Proficiency with computers is a must to quickly learn our POS program. Bonus points for social media and photography skills! Candidate must also have impeccable and personable verbal, written, telephone, and email communication skills. Honesty, integrity, and a sense of humor are required!

The Basics:

· Full-time position: Tues thru Fri, 9:00am–6:15pm; Sat 8:45am–4:30pm. Part time option of 30+ hours may be considered.

· Flawless background check and references required

· Customer service experience preferred

· Rate of pay is hourly at $18, with monthly bonuses if team sales goals are met.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

· Setting up and taking down jewelry in the cases

· Helping to maintain neatness of the store and cases

· Creating a welcoming atmosphere when greeting clients in person and on the phone

· Assisting sales team with client follow-up, project research, organization, jewelry cleaning, gold testing, estate sorting, etc.

· Assisting with minor jewelry repairs like watch batteries, jump rings, clasps, etc.

Additional Tasks May Include:

· Assisting with inventory data entry and other administrative tasks

· Photography for social media or website inventory photos

· Monitoring our website and online sales

· Outgoing and incoming shipments
