Job Title: UI Developer

Location: New York, NY (Can be fully remote, ability to be hybrid if they are in the New York area)

Duration: 6 months

Contract Type: W2 only

Pay Rate: $86.20/Hour

Hours of Operation: 9 AM – 5 PM

Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

1. Supports research and development of development frameworks, and definition of standards.
2. Leads and implements initiatives as required to deliver business objectives.
3. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
4. Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
5. Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
6. Reviews the work of other team members as required.
7. Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
8. Decomposes business requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications and code.
9. Interacts with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers.
10. Assesses the costs and benefits for different solutions and recommend/decide on appropriate designs.
11. Designs solutions, writes code, performs unit testing, develops appropriate artefacts / documentation, and facilitates final delivery.
12. Supports production issues, includes independently completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis.
13. Devises new algorithms and data structures for target environment and platform attributes in alignment with architectural patterns.
14. Builds solutions that are supportable, scalable and achieve our aspiration of common assets.
15. Recommends or automates approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes and/or systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
16. Supports the management of specific project deliverables & outcomes.
17. Identifies opportunities to strengthen the development capability, such as: sharing expertise to promote technical development, mentoring employees, building communities of practice and networks.

Must-Have Skills:

1. Typically 4-6 years of work experience in Web Technologies, IT or business environment and/or B.S./B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business
2. Exceptional skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
3. Experience with TypeScript
4. Experience with the Junit and Jasmine Testing Frameworks
5. Experience with building Native Web Components
6. Experience with ReactJS
7. Experience writing Vanilla JavaScript applications
8. Experience with Webpack or other JavaScript Task Runners
9. Proficient level of knowledge in domain.
10. Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
11. Knowledge of required programming languages and can code with little oversight.
12. Knowledge of technical/business environment and processes.
13. Understand functional aspects and technical behavior of the underlying operating system, development environment, and deployment practices.
