You may substitute education for experience at the GS-7 and GS-9 level. Your educational degree must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
Providing Proof of Education
If you are qualifying on the basis of education alone, you must submit a copy of your transcripts that includes your name, the name of the educational institution, course title(s), number of credits, grade, and date of completion.
