Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in DevOps practices and FedRAMP compliance to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on secure and scalable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects meet organizational goals while adhering to federal security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:
  2. Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects with a focus on DevOps and cloud compliance.
  3. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  4. Monitor project performance, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  5. DevOps Practices:
  6. Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  7. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to improve deployment frequency, reduce failure rates, and shorten lead times.
  8. Ensure operational scalability, availability, and security of DevOps processes.
  9. FedRAMP Compliance:
  10. Guide teams in achieving and maintaining FedRAMP Authorization to Operate (ATO).
  11. Work with compliance experts to implement security controls as per NIST 800-53 standards.
  12. Manage the documentation and reporting requirements for FedRAMP certification and ongoing audits.
  13. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  14. Act as a liaison between technical teams, compliance officers, and business stakeholders.
  15. Communicate technical challenges and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  16. Ensure stakeholder expectations are met through regular updates and collaboration.
  17. Team Leadership:
  18. Lead cross-functional teams, including DevOps engineers, developers, and compliance professionals.
  19. Provide mentorship and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
